1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service govern the use of the Causilo API and the related dashboard, documentation and sign-in pages (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Nums AI Inc. (주식회사 넘즈에이아이), business registration number 814-87-03805 (“Nums AI”, “we” or “us”). “You” means the person who creates an account or uses an API key and, where that person acts for an organisation, that organisation as well. By creating an account or using an API key, you agree to these Terms. Your account records which version of these Terms you accepted and when. Questions about these Terms may be sent to api@nums.world.
2. The Service and fees
The Service generates predictions for data you submit. It is offered as a beta. Nums AI may change, suspend or discontinue the Service, its free tier or any part of it, including its models, limits and response formats, at any time and without notice. Different model versions may produce different predictions for the same input. You are solely responsible for deciding whether the Service is suitable for your intended use.
The Service is currently provided free of charge. Nums AI may introduce fees, which apply from the date they are published.
3. Accounts, API keys and limits
You must have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms to create an account or use the Service. You may not use the Service if you are located in, or ordinarily resident in, a country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if you are a person with whom dealings are prohibited under the sanctions or export control laws of the Republic of Korea, the United States, the European Union or the United Nations.
You must provide accurate information when you create an account. You are responsible for all activity under your account and its API keys, and for keeping your keys secret. An API key is displayed only once and cannot be recovered. You must revoke any key you believe has been disclosed.
Each account is subject to usage limits set by Nums AI, which may be changed at any time. Your current limits and usage are shown on the dashboard. Requests in excess of a limit are rejected. Usage is counted as described in the API reference, and a request that has begun processing is counted in full whether or not you receive the response.
4. Your data
“Customer Data” means the tables and parameters you submit to the Service and the predictions it returns to you. You retain your rights in Customer Data. You grant Nums AI a licence to host, copy and process Customer Data as needed to operate, maintain, secure and support the Service and to comply with law. Nums AI does not use Customer Data to train its models.
Nums AI may collect and use information about how the Service is used, such as request counts, sizes, timings and errors, for any purpose, provided that it does not identify you or contain the values in your tables. If you send Nums AI suggestions or feedback, Nums AI may use them without restriction or obligation to you.
Personal information about you is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Responsibility for the data you send
You are solely responsible for Customer Data and for having all rights and consents needed to submit it. The Service is not designed for personal information, sensitive information, identification numbers, payment card details, credentials or other regulated data. If you submit such data, you do so at your own risk, and Nums AI accepts no responsibility for it. You will indemnify Nums AI against any claim, loss or expense arising from Customer Data or from your use of the Service in breach of these Terms.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service in breach of any law, attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or to other customers' data, interfere with or disrupt the Service, circumvent its limits or security measures, create accounts you are not entitled to, share or resell access to the Service, or use the Service or its outputs to develop a competing model or service. Nums AI may suspend or close any account at any time, with or without notice.
7. No warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the Service and its outputs are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Nums AI does not warrant that the Service will be available, uninterrupted, secure or free of errors, or that any prediction will be accurate or fit for any purpose. Predictions are statistical estimates, not advice, and you rely on them at your own risk.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Nums AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service. The total liability of Nums AI for all claims is limited to the amount you paid to Nums AI in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or KRW 100,000 if that is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
9. Changes to these Terms
Nums AI may revise these Terms at any time. Revisions are published on this page and take effect when published. A revision that changes your rights or obligations is given a new version number; a correction that does not, such as a fix to wording or a link, keeps the current one. Your continued use of the Service after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court as the court of first instance. Sections 4, 5, 7, 8 and 10 continue to apply after your account is closed or the Service is discontinued. The English text of these Terms is the authoritative version.
